David Prange

David Prange was born and raised in Joliet, Ill., and moved to Las Vegas, Nev., in 1993.  He has been involved in writing for bowling publications since writing a regular column called “Junior Bowling News” for the Will County Sportsman while still a Junior Bowler.  More recently, he has served as webmaster for www.sonvbowl.com, the official website of the Southern Nevada USBC Association.  He is also a columnist in the Ten Pin Alley bowling newspaper in Las Vegas.  David's work has also been seen on Bowl.com.  David has served on the Board of Directors of both the Southern Nevada USBC Association, and the Nevada State USBC Association and has held numerous Committee positions including Chairman of the Tournament Committee for the SNUSBCA.  David is a USBC Certified Lane Inspector and works for the USBC Open Championships tournament.  He has won several awards in the annual BWAA Amateur Writing Contest.

David is also an accomplished bowler and was a member of the PBA for over 20 years.  As of this writing, he has 54 – 300 games, 23 – 800 series, and held the high average in the Southern Nevada USBC Association of 240 in 2007. David was elected to the Southern Nevada USBC Hall of Fame for Superior Performance in 2006 and was elected to the Nevada State USBC Hall of Fame in 2011.
