Fran Deken has been a member of BWAA since 1974 and served as President in 2001 after many years on the Board of Directors.

She is a former editor/publisher of The MoKan Bowler and has also been Tournament Director for the LPBT/PWBA (1981-1991 and 2001-2003), a Group/Tournament Coordinator for the Showboat Bowling Center in Las Vegas (1991-1997) and Director of Operations for the National Bowling Stadium in Reno, NV (1997-98).

Fran is a member of the USBC Hall of Fame for Meritorious Service, the PWBA/LPBT Hall of Fame as a Builder, and the Southern Nevada USBC Hall of Fame for Superior Performance.
