Jim Goodwin, Rockwall, Texas was elected to the BWAA Board of Directors in 1995 and re-elected in 2008 for a two year term.

He started bowling at the age of seven - an avid junior bowler.  He joined the PBA but later realized that he preferred the business end of bowling rather than being an athlete.  Toward that end, he has owned and operated a bowling center and a pro shop, started Pin Point Promotions ( a consulting and program services business) and founded the Ladies Classic Tour.

He is a senior writer on Bowlers Journal staff and has been published in Bowling Digest, Bowl Magazine, Bowling Industry, Bowling Center Management and numerous bowling tabloid newspapers.
