SELECT USBC OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS CAPTAINS TO RECEIVE VIP TREATMENT IN RENO

ARLINGTON, Texas – Organizing a group of bowlers for the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships requires a high level of commitment. Select team captains will receive a reward for that commitment during the 2011 tournament compliments of the Eagle’s Nest program.

Members of the Eagle’s Nest who brought four or more teams to the 2010 USBC Open Championships and have committed to returning with at least four teams for the 2011 tournament are eligible for special incentives at Silver Legacy, Eldorado, Circus Circus and Sands Regency hotels.

"Our Reno hotel partners have been very gracious in rewarding our team captains as part of the Eagle’s Nest program,” said Brian Lewis, Managing Director of USBC Tournaments. “We’re confident our bowlers will enjoy their stay at the 2011 Open Championships and will look forward to visiting Reno for future championship events.”

The hotel incentives for qualifying team captains:

Silver Legacy

  • Upgrade for team captain in newly remodeled guest rooms. Note: Spa suites only have one bed. For rooms with two beds, the upgrade will be a superior room (no spa suite)
  • Limousine transfer from the airport
  • VIP check-in at the Legacy Room

Eldorado

  • 30 food credit for team captain
  • Team captain receives complimentary stay or upgrade to a suite
  • $100 in restaurant credits (four $25 credits)
  • $25 in free play

Circus Circus

  • Free upgrade to suite
  • $50 voucher for The Steakhouse at Circus Circus
  • $100 in free slot play credits

Sands Regency

  • $25 in gaming FreePlay or
  • $25 in food credit

A list of Eagle’s Nest members eligible for these incentives is available on the Open Championships page of BOWL.com. Eagle’s Nest members must select one hotel for their stay in 2011 and book their trip through USBC Travel. Captains are encouraged to book as soon as their team dates are confirmed but must book at least 60 days prior to their team date to secure the offers.

The Eagle’s Nest giveaways will continue through the 2011 Open Championships. Other giveaways include four Chevy Silverado trucks or $17,000 cash option (one given away in March, April, May and June 2011, compliments of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority), and Storm high-performance bowling balls (one given away each day of the 2011 tournament).
