Joan Taylor Schliewenz, E. Stroudsburg, Penn. has been a member of BWAA since 1974. Joan was inducted into the Morris County (NJ) BA Hall of Fame 1998 and the Morris County (NJ) WBA Hall of Fame 2000.
A professional writer, Joan has 42 National writing awards including BWAA, PBA and NWBW (Herta Kissel “writer of the year” award twice) to her credit. You can read her weekly column, 52 Sundays a year in the Sunday Record, Parsippany, NJ.
She has written numerous stories for Bowling Digest, Bowlers’ Journal and other bowling magazines that are no longer around.
