This section contains items relating to BWAA policy and procedure, rather than the more "general interest" topics on other pages. Included in this section are:
NEWSLETTER - Current and past issues of BWAA INSIDER, the official newsletter of the Bowling Writers Association of America in downloadable PDF format. The INSIDER contains messages from BWAA leaders, BWAA Convention minutes and other items of interest to BWAA members.
BYLAWS - The latest version of the BWAA's guiding document.
COMMITTEE GUIDELINES - Specific instructions for individual committees.
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY - An abbreviated version of BWAA's Membership Directory for the convenience of those looking for a BWAA member in their area.
LEGISLATIVE ISSUES - Documents and discussion relating to BWAA's pending legislation.

March already – wow, were does the time go? As we get ready to make our plans to meet with members in Kansas City and Orlando, I hope each of our members have renewed their membership so that they can take advantage of the scheduled activities.
We are very pleased that John McCoy and Jack Cook of the National Amateur Bowlers Incorporated (NABI) will be sponsoring our breakfast in Kansas City on May 8th. This will be a great opportunity for many of you to hear about the activities of NABI as well as the activities planned for BWAA in Orlando in June at our annual convention. BWAA will be presenting our Writing Awards at the breakfast. Please check the website and contact Nancy Chapman for registration to attend the breakfast.
BWAA will continue the practice of the former National Women’s Bowling Writers with a charity sale at Kansas City. Helen Lesh is handling the committee that will raise money for our charities by the sale of teddy bears. Please contact Helen if you have a bear to donate to the cause.
The BWAA Newsletter committee distributes a newsletter to all current members about four times a year, either by email or postal service. Past issues are posted on this website. I hope that each of you are sharing the news with the bowlers in your area. The internet and e-mail has made communication so much easier and quicker and it is less expensive to circulate news when we don’t have to rely strictly on the postal services. Some members post the information from the newsletter and releases in their own newsletter and websites or in the local bowling center. Please continue to keep the bowling public informed about our great sport.
Again, don’t forget to renew your membership. I look forward to seeing you in Kansas City and Orlando.
Hazel McLeary, President
Bowling Writers Association of America
